This event is a Quota by Flights event. The Quota for a player is determined by subtracting the Player's handicap from 36. I.E, if a player has a handicap of 10, his quota would be 26 points.

 

Points are scored for gross scores on a hole as follows:

Bogie-1 points

Par-2 points

Birdie-4 points

Eagle-5 points.

 

2-Man Best Ball by Flights

 

This event is a 2-man best ball by flights.

 

No guests are allowed for this event. Men;s Club members only.

 

Groups/Teams will be arranged by the tournament committee, no special requests on team members.

 

Team Score on each hole is the best Net Score for the two-man team.

• Chicago Quota: To determine the quota using the Chicago Format, take the base quota, then add the Playing Handicap. The base quota for the Chicago format is typically -39. Let's look at a simple example...

  Player's Playing Handicap: 10
  Player's Quota: -29

Lone Ranger 

 

The Lone Ranger tournament format is a  game that is played with foursomes.

 

Every hole, one player in that foursome is assigned to be the Lone Ranger.

 

On the 1st hole, player in position 1 in the pairings will act as the Lone Ranger.

 

On the 2nd hole, player in position 2 in the pairings will act as the Lone Ranger.

 

On the 3rd, player in position 3  is the Lone Ranger.

 

On the 4th, player in position 4 is teh Lone Ranger.

 

The cycle then repeats throughout the rest of the round.

 

When playing this format, you will count the Lone Ranger's ball as well as the best ball of the other 3 players. So, two balls will be counted on each hole.

 

All scoring for this event will be using Net Scores of the Players.

This is a Two Man Stableford event.

 

Points will be scored by your net score on a hole.

 

Net Bogie-1 point

Net Par - 2 points

Net Birdie-4 points

Net Eagle - 5 points

Net Double Eagle-6 points

No points for Net Double Bogie or higher.

This event is an individual Stableford event.

 

2 fights will be used for this event.

 

Stableford points are scored for your net score on a hole.

Net Double bogie or higher - 0 points

Net bogie - 1 point

Net par - 2 points

Net birdie - 4 points

Net eagle - 5 points

Net double eagle - 6 points.

 

The player with the most points is the winner.

2021 Riverwood Club Championship

This tournament is the Club Championship of the Riverwood Men’s Club. The following events are featured in this Tournament.

1.) Stableford by Flights – (36 holes). The player with the most stableford points is the winner. All flight winners determined by Stableford points.

2.) Low Gross Overall (Member with lowest Gross score after 45 holes) Flight-1 only.

1st place 50% / 2nd Place 30% / 3rd Place 20%  

Anyone owning a player in top 3 (and ties)

will split money associated with that player

This is a  tournament format played with foursomes. 

• On Hole 1, you count the best net ball of the foursome. 

• On Hole 2, you count the best 2 net balls of the foursome. 

• On Hole 3, you count the best 3 net balls of the foursome.

The process then repeats so that we are back to counting the best ball on the 4th hole, best 2 on the 5th hole wrx.

This event will be held on Sunday - September 12. You will received double the normal points for this event depending upon your finish in your flight.
