Event Overview
Entries Close: August 25
Registration Fee: $250.00 per player (includes cart fees/range fees/lunches/prizes)
Format: 36-holes of individual stroke play, two-day event
Eligibility: Open to Member Club golfers and Individual Members of the Pennsylvania Golf Association.
Divisions: Championship Division (Amateurs 40 years of age up to 54 years of age), Senior Division (55-64 years of age) & Super-Senior Division (65 years of age and older). Senior Division will be paired among Championship Division and will be eligible for overall Championship. Super-Senior Division will play a forward tee approximately 6000 yards. Championship tee will be approx. 6600 yards.
Field: Limited to 110 entries, accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis after guaranteed spots.
Cart/Caddie: Automotive transportation is required for this event, the fee of $35 per person per day is included with your entry fee and includes range balls.
Food & Beverage: Lunch will be provided each day of competition from approximately 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is included in the entry fee. Additional F&B purchases will be available via cash or reciprocal club charge (if available).
Practice Rounds: Available on Tuesday, September 7 after 11 a.m. The practice round fee is $50 and includes cart. Tee times are required for practice rounds. Please contact the golf shop at 724-465-5222 to schedule a tee time.
Pairings: Play will be in threesomes at 10-minute intervals. First round results will determine second round pairings. Super-Senior Division entrants will play first on day two followed by the Overall Division.
Start Times: The PAGA staff, following as closely as practical the preferences indicated on the entry form will determine pairings and tee times.
Ties: Sudden-death playoff for overall Championship and Super-Senior immediately following the conclusion of play. All other ties will be broken by matching scorecards in accordance with USGA guidelines.
Prizes: The individual with the lowest gross score after 36-holes will be declared the Art Wall, Jr. Memorial Champion. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top 7 finishers.
The individual with the lowest gross score after 36-holes will be declared the Senior Art Wall, Jr. Memorial Champion. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers.
The individual with the lowest gross score after 36-holes will be declared the Super-Senior Art Wall, Jr. Memorial Champion. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers.
Prizes will also be awarded to the team (team members must be from the same club) that posts the best two scores of three for the two rounds of the event.
