<- Previous: The First Year

The first full season in 1958 had 4 golf tournaments with Concord C.C. leading the way on May 27 (and a wallet busting $2.50 entry fee) followed by Laconia C.C. on June 27 (with an entry fee of $6.50 and including dinner). On August 13, 1958 Cochecho C.C. hosted the third tournament of the year with another entry fee increase to $7.00 (these guys were fast learners). Notice the poster advertising that if you want a drink after your round (or possibly during your round) then it's strictly BYOL (Bring Your Own Liquor). Also of note is that until 1966 Cochecho was just a 9 hole course and until 1972 Concord C.C. was also a nine hole course. The season ended at Manchester C.C. on September 17 with another price increase to $10 including dinner and the annual meeting. Golfers were informed that The Larry Dowling Championship Trophy (there is that name again) was at stake and that because school was back in session  there would be a limited number of caddies available.

Season 2 in 1959 also had 4 golf tournaments with Abenaqui Country Club replacing Cochecho Country Club and again requiring imbibing golfers to BYOL. Standard entry fee was $6
