CHAMPIONSHIP REGISTRATION

PLAYER CHECK IN
All competitors must check in with Golf NB prior to their first round of competition. Players that do not check in may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION.
Players may check in with Golf NB in the Tournament Officer located at the host club on.
- July 16, 2021 - 2:00pm to 6:00pm
- July 17, 2021 - 7:00 am until the last tee time at the Hampton Golf Course.
ELIGIBILITY AND COMPTETITIONS
This event is open to golfers who have not reached their fifteenth (15) birthday on or before August 1st.
Competitions: The championship has two competitions.
- Under 15 Boys & Girls: A player is considered Under 15, if they have not reached their fifteenth birthday (15) by midnight; August 1, 2021.
- Under 13 Boys & Girls: A player is considered Under 13, if they have not reached their thirteenth birthday (13) by midnight; August 1, 2021.
SIZE OF FIELD
A maximum of 100 competitors will be accepted. If greater than 100 entries are received, Golf NB reserves the right to expand the field to accommodate additional entries.
FORMAT
Under-13 & Under-15 Competitions: 36-Hole stroke play championship open to boys and girls. The event is played in 18-hole stipulated rounds over two consecutive days.
OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND
All players are entitled to one complimentary practice round at the Hampton Golf Course during the week prior to the championship. Available tee times will be established at the discretion of the host club.

STARTING TIMES AND DRAW INFORMATION
Starting times for the first round will be made available on the Golf NB website 2 to 3 days prior to the event as well as being e-mailed to each participant. Final Round starting times will be e-mailed to competitors, posted on the Golf NB website, and posted on the Tournament Information Page once they are prepared.
In general, players can anticipate the following as it pertains to the establishment of pairings and tee times for the event.
ORDER OF PLAY
The order of play for the NB Under 13 & Under 15 Championships, for day 1 and day 2, will be as follows.
- Round 1
- Under 15 Boys & Girls
- Under 13 Boys & Girls
- Round 2
- Under 13 Boys & Girls
- Under 15 Boys & Girls
PRACTICE FACILITIES
Practice Facilities at the club will be available to all tournament players for the duration of the Championship. Complimentary range balls will be provided to participants prior to each competitive round.
PRIZES
An Under-13 Boys & Girls and Under-15 Boys & Girls Champions will be named.
EVENT TEES & YARDAGES
Competitors can anticipate playing the following club tees and yardages. Final tee placements will be determined by the Golf NB Rules Committee Chair prior to the competition.
- Under 13 Boys & Girls – A combination of “GOLD” & “RED” tees
- Yardage = 5,000 to 5,300 yards
- Under 15 Girls – Predominantly “WHITE” tees
- Yardage = 5,400 - 5,600 yards
- Under 15 Boys – A combination of “GOLD” & “SILVER” tees
- Yardage = 5,900 to 6,500 yards
PLYAER MEALS
A meal, or food voucher, will be provided to each participant following their first round.

NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL
If you find you cannot compete in the championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by contacting Golf NB at (506) 451-1324 or by email at tflinn@golfnb.ca. Entry fees will not be refunded after the application deadline without a medical certificate. Entry fees will be refunded, less a $25 administrative fee, if Golf NB is notified of a player’s intention to withdraw prior to the application deadline. If you do not officially withdraw, you may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION from future Golf NB and Golf Canada competitions.
