All competitors are seeded in the single elimination competition ladder by random draw. Competition is played using 100% of tournament handicap differential on the day of competition. There will be one Ladder.  Men and Ladies combined. Men will play from the White Tees, Ladies from the Red Tees.

Example:

Two competitors decide to play their match one afternoon. Player “A” has a tournament handicap of 18 and Player “B” a tournament handicap of 10. Player “B” having the lower handicap would play off scratch (0) and Player “A” would play off 100% of the differential or 18-10 = 8 therefore 8 Strokes Player “A” gets 8 strokes these are taken starting at lowest indexed hole as designated on score card.

Scheduling

  6. The Committee’s decision will be considered FINAL on all Scheduling issues.

Ineligibility

Match Play competitions are not permitted to be played in Stroke Play events. USGA Rule 33-1 states “that certain special Rules governing stroke play are so substantially different from those governing match play that combining the two forms of play is not practicable and is not permitted. The results of matches played and the scores returned in these circumstances must not be accepted”. Members electing to play their match play competition in a stroke play event will automatically become ineligible to compete for prizes in the stroke play event.

Rules

USGA Rule 2 Match Play will define all rules in the Competition. Ties will be settled by as many holes as required for the match to be won.
