INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCONTINUANCE OF PLAY

Maidstone has a lightning detection system.  In the event of lightning near the golf course, we will follow Maidstone’s recommended procedures. One long blast will signal players to immediately discontinue play. Three blasts will signal players to resume play. Although bad weather is not of itself a good reason for discontinuing play, a player is permitted to discontinue play at any time she herself believes there is a danger from lightning. The WMGA strongly endorses each individual’s attention, vigilance, and care in this regard, to one’s own safety.

COVID-19 PROCEDURES (See attached)

Maidstone requires all guests to adhere to and follow all government mandates and protocols to ensure social distancing. Any player violating such protocols will be asked to leave the tournament and premises. See attached COVID Procedures for more information.
