Welcome to the 2021 Willow Run Stars & Stripes Classic

6-6-6 Format

 

FORMAT: Holes 1-6: Best Ball     Holes 7-12: Alternate Shot     Holes 13-18: Scramble 

 

   *GHIN Handicap NOT required 

 

FLIGHTS: Flights determined by 1st 6-hole (Best Ball) score and number of entries.   

 

TEES: Adults – BLUE TEES   Seniors (55+) & Juniors (17U) - WHITE TEES      Ladies – RED TEES  

 

PAYOUTS: Payouts are determined by flights & number of entries. All payouts will be in the form of pro-shop credit! All credit expires October 31, 2021. 

 

SKINS: $20 optional gross cash skins game! All skins will be paid out to the team in the form of cash. 

 

BEST BALL: Both players play their own ball on each hole. The best score between the two counts as the team score.  

 

ALTERNATE SHOT: Both team members will tee off on each hole. Team members will pick the best shot - and alternate strokes until the ball is holed. Example, if you choose Player A’s drive, Player B will hit the second shot.

 

Each player’s drive MUST be used TWICE in this format! 

 

SCRAMBLE: Each player hits a tee shot on each hole, with both players playing from the spot of the best shot. This continues until the ball is holed.

MULLIGANS: $20 Team Mulligans. One mulligan per person per format! If unused, does NOT carry over to other formats.   

 

SCORECARDS: Scorecards can be returned to the pro-shop at the conclusion of play. 

 

LIVE SCORING: Download the USGA Tournament or Golf Genius Apps to enter your scores and follow along LIVE! Just enter the GGID code on the bottom right of your scorecard! 

 

PACE OF PLAY: Appropriate pace of play is 4 hours and 30 minutes for 18-holes. Please try to stay on pace and keep up with the group in front of you!
