Junior PGA Championship Eligibility Requirements

Players must be eighteen (18) years of age or younger on the final day of each respective National Championship (Boys: July 15, 2021 - Girls: July 30, 2021).

– Please be aware of this age restriction during your Junior PGA Qualifiers. A player that will become 19 years of age prior to the end of his or her respective National Championship will not be allowed to compete.

• Players must be amateurs as defined by the USGA and must NOT be full-time college students. A player who has begun his or her collegiate career is NOT eligible.

• All successful qualifiers are identified based on the lowest gross score from the longest yardage. – Any player who wishes to qualify for the National Championship must play from the same tees as the oldest age division and pay the same entry fees.

• Additional eligibility guidelines specific to each Section Championship can be made at the discretion of each PGA Section. These additional eligibility guidelines can include items such as Section junior tour membership requirements and player residency restrictions. – Please contact Trenton Blundell, PGA (tblundell@pgahq.com) with all questions regarding eligibility requirements.
