Starting Times & Course:
The Grandover Resort 2021 Griffin Cup will be held on the East Course with a 10AM Double Tee Start.
Format:
The Griffin Cup is a two person gross best ball event. The Griffin Cup will be flighted based on the average handicap index of the 2 person team.
Field Size:
Field size is limited to 56 teams (112 Players)
Yardages:
Men age 54 and younger will play from a yardage of 6600
Men age 55 to 69 will play from a yardage of 6000
Men age 70 and above will play from a yardage of 5500
All women will play from yardage of 5500
Scoring:
Players are required to bring a fully charged mobile device that supports the Golf Genius App. Players will use the app for their official scorecard as well as the live scoring. Each player is responsible for bringing thier own mobile device and that it is fully charged. All tournament information will be sent on the Golf Genius App for ease of use.
Eligibility:
Field is open to Male and Female Golfers.
Entry Acceptance;
Acceptance into the field is a first come first serve basis
Rules:
USGA Rules Govern all play. Any rules questions will be answered by the on site rules committee whose answer is final.
Refund Policy:
Grandover will issue a full refund up to 72 hours in advance. Inside 72 hours, Grandover will issue a refund minus a $25 dollar administrative fee. Grandover will issue a full refund if the event is cancelled due to local health governing agencies
