MOTORIZED TRANSPORTATION POLICY
Players must not ride on any form of transportation unless authorized or later approved by the Tournament Appeals Committee for the following events:
- Men and Women's Amateur championships, practice rounds and qualifiers
- Junior, Juvenile, Bantam and Peewee championships, practice rounds and qualifiers
Penalty for Breach of this policy: The player gets the general penalty for each hole during which there is a breach of this Local Rule. If the breach occurs between the play of two holes, it applies to the next hole.
Exceptions include:
- Any player with a serious, permanent physical disability may request the use of motorized transportation at any Golf Ontario competition by following the approved application procedure. If motorized transportation is approved for a player at a competition that would otherwise prohibit the use of motorized transportation, the conditions described in Part A below are in effect.
- In all other competitions, players will be permitted to use motorized transportation. The conditions described in Part B below are in effect.
- A player who will play, or has played, under penalty of stroke and distance is always authorized to ride on motorized transportation for that purpose.
