CALIFORNIA SENIOR WOMEN’S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION

43rd CALIFORNIA SENIOR WOMEN’S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP
San Jose CC, San Jose
November 15 – 17, 2021
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- 54 holes; stroke play.
- Additionally, the super senior contestant (age 65 or older) with the low 36-hole total will also be awarded. If two or more super seniors advance to the final round, their 54-hole total will determine the winner.
Monday, November 15: Round 1 (18 holes)
Tuesday, November 16: Round 2 (18 holes)
Following the second round, the field will be cut to the low 30 players and ties.
Wednesday, November 17: Round 3 (18 holes)
ELIGIBILITY: The championship is open to female amateur golfers with a handicap Index of 18.4 or less as of the time of registration. Entrants must have reached their 50th birthday by November 15, 2021. 84 players, comprised of exempt players, followed by those registered with the lowest Handicap Indexes as of Monday, November 1, 2021, will compete in the championship. Should the number of entries exceed the field size, those not initially accepted will remain on the waitlist ranked by the November 1 Handicap Index.
EXEMPTIONS: All exempt players must still meet eligibility requirements and register online for the championship prior to the entry closing date. The current list of exemptions can be found online by clicking here.
ENTRIES OPEN: Monday, January 4, 2021
ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, October 31, 2021
ENTRY FEE: $250
INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played, will be emailed and posted online after entries close.
LATE ENTRIES: Late entries will be accepted, assuming there is still space available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and can only be processed over the phone or through email.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $10 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
