SCORING

All Scoring will be via USGA TM utilizing the Digital Scorecard feature which provides for the Marker and Scorer to verify and digitally sign scorecards.  Information on how to use the Digital Scorecard feature can be found here - Digital Scorecards

 

CONDITIONS OF PLAY

 

Play will be conducted according to the rules of the USGA, the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, the Saudi Aramco Golf Association (SAGA) Sec IV, and Rolling Hills Golf Club Local Rules. 

 

• Local Rule 7 (Alternative to Stroke and Distance for Lost Ball or Ball out of Bounds (E-5)) does not apply.
• Local Temporary Rule 3 (Foam Hole Insert: During casual golf, when a ball bounces out from the hole due to foam (or other material) insert please use your best judgement along with your fellow playing partners to determine if the ball would have holed out more than 50% of the time if there was no insert.) does not apply.
• The maximum score anyone can have on a hole is 2 x Par plus handicap strokes (otherwise known as double net par).  Therefore if you are on a Par 3 and receive a stroke, your maximum score is 7 for that hole. 

 

FLIGHTS

For the 2021 Season, the flights in all Monthly Medals shall be equally distributed based on the players' Handicap Index as of the Wednesday at 6 PM of the week of the Monthly Medal.

HANDICAPS

The maximum playing handicap for men will be 36 and for women it will be 40. 

 

TEEING GROUND

 

Men will play from the White Tees and Women shall play from the Red Tees.
