The LMGC Regular Monthly Hole-in-One Fund Participants List
For the ten regular monthly tournaments, see our calendar, LMGC offers an optional Hole-in-One fund managed by the Tournament Director. To participate in the fund requires an entry fee of $5 which remains in the fund until a member makes an ace. If you are fortunate enough to score an ace during an LMGC sanctioned monthly event, you will receive the money in the fund. If you choose to buy a beverage for other members in the bar, as is customary on such an occasion, then the funds will help to offset that bill. This is, of course, optional and is not required.
LMGC Hole-in-one fund info:
- Cost is a one-time fee of $5, which provides coverage until a Member in the Hole-in-One fund gets an ace. After that, a new $5 fee is required to have supporting coverage to maintain membership on the list. Also, there is no credit offered to join the list, meaning you cannot add your name to the list and note that you still owe.
- This fund is limited to the 12 regular monthly tournaments only. This exclusion applies to but is not limited to the President’s Cup matches, away tournaments, Senior Championships and any other event which is outside of the monthlies. For those other LMGC golf outings, there is a non-monthly participant's fund to look into.
- In the case of more than one Hole-in-One in one day (don't laugh -- it's happened!) the fund will be split.
- The total amount in the fund will go to the lucky/skillful player or players who make an ace in a regular monthly event.
- If the fund is less than $250, the Club will top-off the fund to a minimum amount of $250.
- The disbursement of funds do not count towards President's Cup points.
- The last member who scored an ace was Mr. Joseph Rubich in December of 2021.
