Event Description:

This is a fun annual event scheduled for April 8, 2021. There are 36 spots open for sign-up.

There’s a lot of fun in store. Since this is a non-League event, it will include a number of creative rules and opportunities to get a great score.

 

Format:

Captains will be appointed to select their teams in a round-robin format. The 4-person teams will be selected based on handicaps with A, B, C, D players. The format is a combined Overboard stroke play net score with the remaining 3-some gross scramble score on each hole. Everyone will play from the Copper Tees.

 

Fee: $30

Since we are going to hold this event at the Pavilion with appetizers following play, there is a fee this year.

 

Prizes:

Winners receive a trophy and have the honor of organizing this event next year.

 

Scoring:

Each Captain will have their own scorecard and will be responsible along with team members to select 3 holes per person where that player will be Overboard and play the hole alone. The Overboard players for the remaining 6 holes must be selected prior to teeing off on their designated hole. The Overboard player will have full handicap applied to their individual hole score.  The remaining 3 players will scramble and will not have any handicap allocated.  Both the Overboard player’s net score and the team’s scramble gross score will be recorded for a total team score for that hole.  ** Note scoring may be influenced by the creative rules on various holes**
