Welcome to the Men's/Ladies Club Championship and Presidents Cup 2021

 

 

 

 

 

 

Event Description:

This is a two-day aggregate gross and net stroke play tournament to crown our Club Champions and Presidents Cup Champion Entry: You are required to register for this event on the website at least 7 days in advance. If you cancel less than 2 days in advance of the event, you will be charged the entry fee.

 

Entry fee: $40 per player

 

Format: 36-hole stroke play. On Day 1, pairings will be based on handicap within each flight. Pairings will be reassigned for Day 2 based on the Day 1 results. The leaders will go off last.

 

Tees/Flights

  • Champions Flight – Black tees – open to all male members regardless of age. The low gross winner of this flight shall be declared the Club Champion
  • Members Flight – Gold tees – open to all male members regardless of age. The low gross winner of this flight shall be declared the Members Champion
  • Senior Flight – Blue tees – open to all male members at least 60 years of age. The low gross winner of this flight shall be declared the Senior Champion”
  • Super Senior Flight – White tees – open to all male members at least 70 years of age. The low gross winner of this flight shall be declared the Super Senior Champion 

 

Handicaps: A player’s handicap for this event will be based upon his current GHIN index and the tees he plays. It will remain the same for both days of the tournament.

 

Prizes:

  • The winners of each flight shall be declared the applicable Champion as described above
  • The overall low net winner, regardless of flight, shall be declared the Presidents Cup Champion
  • Prizes will be awarded to the low gross and low net players in each flight
    • Payouts are based on the number of participants (~33% of field)
  • All prizes will be awarded in the form of Pro Shop credit

 

Ties:

  • If there is a tie for low gross in a flight after 36 holes, there will be a sudden death stroke play playoff that will continue until the applicable Champion is determined. The starting tee will be determined by the Pro Shop depending on course availability.
  • If there is a tie for low overall low net after 36 holes, there will be a 3-hole aggregate stroke play playoff, with the starting hole to be determined by the Pro Shop based on course availability. If the players are still tied after 3 holes, play will continue in a sudden death format until the Presidents Cup Champion is determined. This tie breaker method is subject to modification by the Pro Shop due to darkness, if applicable.
  • All other ties will split the applicable prize money

 

Special Tournament Rules of Play: The local alternative stroke and distance rule will NOT be in effect for this tournament
