2020 Nevada State Women's Quad Championship

 

 

WHEN: Monday and Tuesday, October 12-13, 2020

COURSE: Desert Course

 

FORMAT: 36-Hole, 2 Best Balls of Four person team

 

ENTRY FEE: $190 per player ($760 per team) - Includes 2 rounds of golf, range balls, golf cart, lunch, and prizes

 

SHOTGUN: 8:00 AM Shotgun for both days of the Championship

 

FIELD SIZE: Limited to the first 20 paid team entries. The maximum field size is subject to change based on possible COVID restrictions. Teams registering after the maximum field size has been reached will be placed on a waiting list and contacted if room becomes available.

 

ELIGIBILITY: All players must be members of the WSNGA or NNGA with a verifiable GHIN handicap.

 

HANDICAPS: Maximum playing handicap is 36. Any player with a playing handicap of 37 or higher will have their playing handicap reduced to 36 for purposes of the competition. Playing handicaps will be calculated using a 85% handicap allowance per the Rules of Handicapping. Current handicaps as of Thursday October 8, 2020 will be used to determine playing handicaps for the competition.

 

PROJECTED YARDAGE: Primm Valley Desert Forward (Green) Tees

 

 

AWARDS: Prizes will be given for gross and net finishes - Approximately 1/3 of the field will be paid

 

ENTRIES: Registration deadline is September 28, 2020 @ 5:00 PM. No refunds will be given after that date.

 

CHECK-IN: There will be no formal registration at the golf course. All golf carts will have scorecards and rules sheets. The tee sheet will be sent in advance and posted at various locations throughout the club.

 

PRACTICE ROUND: Practice round available at discounted rate depending on time of play. Please mention you are scheduling a practice round for the NSWGA Quad Tournament when you contact the golf course.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Soft spikes or spikeless golf shoes are mandatory. NSWGA dress code is in effect. All golf clubs must be USGA conforming with the exception of the 2010 groove rule.

STATE REFUND POLICY: After the established deadline for a Nevada State event, players can only receive a refund if there is a waiting list of players and a wait listed player agrees to fill that spot. Cases such as death in the family or serious illness such as hospitalization can be reviewed on a case by case basis.

NOTE: There will be an automatic $25 processing fee associated with any refund issued for a cancellation prior to the registration closing date.
