Registration
No registration required at this event. Important: Report to the starting tee no less than 5 minutes prior to your assigned starting time. There is no call to the tee; it is the player’s responsibility to arrive on time.
Food & Beverage:
The club will have food and beverage services available. A player’s lunch will be provided at the conclusion of the first round of play. Outside food and beverages are not allowed at the facility.
General Information:
The Rules of the United States Golf Association govern play. This information sheet, the Golf House Kentucky hard card and any site-specific Local Rules and Conditions of Competition sheets are supplements to the Rules of Golf. Local Rules of the host course do not apply. The Golf House Kentucky Rules and Competitions Committee, who are charged with conducting this site, shall settle all questions. Reference to the Rules and Appendix I may be found in the 2016-2018 Rules of Golf book. Unless otherwise noted the penalty for breach of a Local Rule or Condition is: 2 Strokes.
Distance-Measuring Devices:
The PGA of America DOES permit the use of distance-measuring devices for section qualifiers but does not allow them at the national championships.
Grooves and Punch Marks Policy:
The PGA of America has adopted the Condition of Competition at the PGA Section level (qualifying stages) for these three Championship events. Beginning this year, ALL players must comply with this Condition of Competition.
Pace of Play Guidelines and Procedures:
The KPGA uses a pace of play guideline that is outlined on the back of the scorecard.
Player/Caddie Carts:
Golf carts are provided for all players. Pull/Push carts are allowed, if preferred.
Caddies:
Caddies are permitted, however you are responsible for making your own arrangements for a caddie.
Practice Range:
The practice range opens prior to the first starting time, weather permitting. Range balls are complimentary for competitors.
Qualifying Positions:
The number of qualifying positions for the 2017 PGA Senior Professional Championship for this section is a total of three (3). The section champion and two additional qualifiers will advance. Four alternates must be determined for the PGA Senior Professional Championship.
Play-off:
In the event of a tie for first place in the championship or for the last qualifying spot, the players concerned shall compete in a hole-by-hole play-off. The starting hole and time shall be announced at the scoreboard immediately after the Committee has verified the results of the qualifier.
Close of Competition:
The competition shall be deemed to have closed when all scores have been returned and the committee has approved the results.
