Welcome to the 5th NYS Amateur & Senior Amateur Mixed Team Championships! We are very happy to return this event once again to the beautiful Skaneateles Country Club, a wonderful course in an idealic setting.

Format
The format of this championship is 18 holes of modified Chapman stroke play, gross and net, as follows: two players play as partners, each partner plays from the teeing ground and plays their partner's ball for the second shot. After the second shot, the partners select which ball they wish to score with and play that ball atlernately to complete the hole. On par three holes, the choice of which ball to play alternately must be made after the tee shots.
Ties
A tie for the winner of the championship (gross only) will be broken by sudden death playoff starting on hole #1. Ties for the winner of the net championship will be broken using the USGA recommended method of matching scorecards.
Course Handicap
A team's handicap will be determined as follows: 60% of the low player's Course Handicap, and 40% of the higher player's Course Handicap.
Divisions
There are two divisions competing concurrently at Skaneateles CC: amateur (all ages) and senior amateur (men 55+, women 50+).
Tees Played
Men (Blue), Women (White), Senior Men (Green), Senior Women (Red).
Registration
When you arrive at Skaneateles, please check-in beneath the NYSGA tent setup near the cart staging area. You will have your hole assignment confirmed, receive any special notices, and then be released to warm up!
Driving Range
The use of the driving range is included with your entry. Range balls will be on the range when you arrive.
Player Dinner
There will be a dinner immediately following the conclusion of play in the Skaneateles CC ballroom. The menu includes a garden salad, chicken picatta with rice and seasonal vegetables, with carrot cake as dessert. A vegetarian option will be available, just please let us know in advance at the registration table. There will be a cash bar and coffee/tea service will be provided.
Awards
Crystal trophies will be awarded to the overall gross and net winner of each division. If a team wins both prizes, they will be awarded the gross prize only.
