The Michigan Publinx Golf Association awards Honor Roll points for each of our events, excluding the 2 Man Championship, We also award points for non MPGA events including the Michigan Amateur, GAM Championship, Syron Memorial, Michigan Open, Michigan Mid-Amateur, and USGA Championships These points are used to determine the Atlas Cup Team Roster every two years.The Top 10 Players based on cumulative points awarded over two seasons will be awarded a spot on the Michigan Publinx Atlas Cup Roster. In order to be eligible to be awarded a spot you must have played a Championship Series Event, or been a member of a Team Play roster during the two scoring seasons of Atlas Cup qualifying.
2022 Changes:
At the end of the 2021 season the MPGA Board of Directors voted on changes to the point system. The values you see below reflect those changes. Also, in order to win Player of the Year, starting in 2022, the player must compete in a minimum 2 Michigan Publinx events. If you are on a Championship or Senior Team that counts as one event and you will need to compete in another individual event to win the Player of the Year Honor.
