Due to COVID restrictions, we will be doing a morning crossover with groups starting on 1 and 10. No Shotgun start as we have done in previous years.

 

ENTRY FEE: $10 Per Day (If you sign up you are expected to play both days)

 

TEE BOXES: All players will play Blue Tee’s unless they are signed up as White Tee players on Golf Genius. White Tee Players will only play against other White Tee players. 

 

 

SATURDAY SEPT. 19th: 9 Holes / 2 MEN Best Ball & 9 Holes / 2 mEn Scotch Ball

 

Sunday Sept. 20th: 18 HOLES SINGLES MATCH PLAY

 

SCORING: 3 points totals will be available for each day. 1 point for the front nine, 1 point for the back nine and 1 point for the overall 18 holes. All scoring will be GROSS. Players will be paired against players with similar Handicaps.

 

 

Saturday Sept.19th, 2020 – Team Matches (3 points available per match)

 

First 9 Holes 2 Man Best Ball:  1 point available

2 Man Best Ball is the Lowest GROSS score of the two players on the team is the team score. Lowest score/team wins the hole.

 

Second 9 Holes 2 Man Scotch Ball: 1 point available

 

2 Man Scotch Ball is where each player will tee off, then the partners will switch second shots and play each others ball.  Following the second shot the team will choose the best location and alternate shots from there until the ball is holed out.  On par 3’s the best location must be chosen after the tee shot and alternate in from the second shot on.  Lowest GROSS team score wins the hole.

 

1 point for the overall 18 holes

 

Sunday Sept. 20th, 2020 – Singles Matches (3 points available per match)

 

 

For Sunday all Matches will be 18 holes of singles match play. All matches will be based on GROSS Match play from White or Blue tees.

 

1 point for the front nine, 1 point for the back nine and 1 point for the overall 18 holes.

 

 

Prizing and Socially Distanced Celebration:

 

We will have tables held for us in Valley Hall after each day so we can celebrate with our teams. Captains will select the singles matches on Saturday after the first round. Scoring will be uploaded to Golf Genius and visible to all players as they come in on a TV In Valley Hall.

 

On Sunday, we will again convene in Valley Hall where the winning team will receive the Ryder Cup Trophy and a steak for lunch, while the losing team is left with a hot dog lunch.
