MGA Mobile App User Guide

 

How to Download the MGA Mobile Application

1.  Open the app store application on your mobile device
2. Search for “Golf Genius” and download the free app
3. Open the app once the download is complete
4. You are now at the login portion of the app
5. Enter your email address and password (Note: When you first join the league a temporary password will be sent to you via email saying that you have been invited to register for a league).

 

You can use the league portal page to register for events and view all pertinent league information!

 

Registering for League Events

You will receive an invitation through your email from the MGA that prompts you to either accept or decline the invitation for the following week’s event. Simply accept or decline the invitation to the event.

 

What if I never received an invitation or I want to cancel my registration?

1. Log in to the Golf Genius application on your mobile device
2. Select the MGA league (if you are a member of multiple leagues)
3. Select “Member Portal”
4. To register or unregister for an event, select the “MGA event” dropdown box. This will bring you to the league’s schedule for the entire year. You can register for each event 1 week in advance.

It will show whether or not you are registered for this week’s event. To register/unregister select “change your status” for the event (this will register or unregister you, as appropriate).

 

To see who is registered for the upcoming event

1. Select “This Week’s Players”
2. The next screen will show all of the players that are registered for the upcoming event

 

How to Contact another MGA Member

 

1. Go to “MGA People/MGA Roster”.
2. Click on the Name of the person you wish to contact and his profile will be displayed giving you his address, Tel. Nos. and Email.

 

How to Look Up your Handicap and Tee Assignment

 

1. Go to “MGA People/MGA Roster” – That info is listed for all MGA Members.

 

How to View and Change Your Profile

 

1. Go to “MGA People/Edit My MGA Profile”.
2. Select the “Edit Profile” button in the lower right hand section of the screen.
3. You can now change any field and add or change your photo.
