Yardage & Tees
Placement of tees is not determined until the day of the event. Yardage will always be in the ranges listed below and will not be determined prior to the Friday before the event, and may still be changed before the first contestant tees off.
Below is a breakdown of the average yardages typically used, by flight, on Tour (based on course/flight availability)

The yardage will vary depending on the course teeing grounds, slope and rating. Am Tour will attempt to provide every golfer with an opportunity to participate under the most competitive tournament set-ups possible.
Ladies will play from the approximate yardages listed above, regardless of number of players in any particular flight.
When flights are combined (Open with Senior), players will compete from the tee yardages from the flight that has the majority of the players (i.e. 2 players in the Sarazen flight and 4 players in the Senior Sarazen flight – there will be one combined Sarazen flight with all 6 players playing from the Senior Sarazen tee yardages).
