2020 New England Women's Amateur Championship

Practice Rounds: Practice Rounds are available for competitors Monday - Thursday and Sunday (6/28) after 1:30PM. Please contact the North Conway CC Pro Shop to secure a practice round. The cost of a practice round is $45.
COVID-19 Rules, Policies & Procedures: Please click "NEGA COVID-19 Guidelines" under the Player Information tab above for specific information regarding the NEGA policies for New Hampshire.
Caddies: Due to New Hampshire COVID-19 guidelines, players are NOT permitted to employ a caddy during any of the three rounds of the Championship.
Spectators: The NEGA spectator policy permits specatators to walk with a group or groups during the Championship. Spectators must walk and must stay on the cart path whenever possible while following a group.
Format: The Championship Proper will be 54-holes of Stroke Play. There will be not cut for the 2020 Championship in either division.
Eligibility: Entries are open to amateur golfers who hold membership in a club belonging to one of the six New England State Golf Associations and have an up-to-date USGA/GHIN Handicap Index not exceeding 18.0.
Divisions: There are two divisions in the New England Women's Amateur Championship. The Championship division is a gross-only competition. The Overall Champion, Runner-Up, Junior Champion, and Senior Champion will be awarded from this division. The Tournament Division is a gross & net competition . The Legend Champion will be awarded from this division. Prize Certificates will be awarded to the best gross players in the Championship Division and the best gross & net (handicaps based on 6/22 revision) players in the Tournament Division.

These yardages are subject to change and may be modified based on various factors throughout the week. Any questions regarding course setup for either division may be directed to the NEGA Manager of Operations, Greg Howell.

Schedule - Championship Proper:
Round 1 - June 29 (18 Holes)
Round 2 - June 30 (18 Holes)
Round 3 - July 1 (18 Holes)
The lowest scorer for 54 holes will be Champion.
If a tie for first place occurs, play will immediately continue hole-by-hole until a winner is determined. If ties for other positions occur, duplicate merchandise certificates will be awarded.
Automotive Transportation: Players may take a golf cart during their round. The cost of a golf cart is included in the entry fee for all three rounds. Players will be given invididual golf carts due to COVID-19 policies in place in NH.
Food/Beverage: The NEGA will be providing a complimentary luncheon on June 29th & June 30th for all competitors. Players are responsible for their own cost of food & beverage on July 1st. Please note: due to COVID-19 Guidelines, this lunch will not be a buffet lunch and will be a limited menu from which players may order either prior to or after their round.
Starting Times: Championship Starting Times can be found by clicking on "Starting Times" above. Rounds 2 & 3 will be re-paired based on cumulative score. Play will begin at 8:00am each morning off the 1st tee.
Prizes: Merchandise Certificates will be awarded to the top finishers in each division. Winner will receive the Championship Cup. The Senior Champion (Age 50+ players in the Championship Division) will receive the Carol Patton Senior Champion Trophy. The Junior Champion (18 & under in Championship Division) will receive the Kathy Albright Junior Champion Bowl. The Legend Champion (Age 65+ in the Tournament Division) will receive the Sydney Arnold Legend Champion Trophy. The Fanchon Cartin State Team Trophy will be awarded to the low team over three days (2 best Gross Championship Division Players and Best Net Tournament Division Player each day). Merchandise certificates are only redeemable at the host club.
Inclement Weather/Cancelled Round Stipulation: The NEGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein.
Restrictions: If the Championship course is declared unplayable and as a result it is not possible to complete the 54 holes of play in the period in which the Championship is scheduled, the Championship will not be extended beyond the last scheduled day and the winner shall be the individual who returns the lowest score for the number of stipulated rounds played.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy
Competitors, who have submitted an entry for an NEGA event and wish to withdraw for any reason, MUST notify the NEGA office in writing (e-mail is acceptable and encouraged) or by phone. Entry fee will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee, regardless of reason, if the NEGA is notified in writing or by phone seven days prior to each event.
