LPGA International - JONES Course

18-hole stroke play championship
Date: Sunday, February 23, 2020

EVENT OVERVIEW

LPGA International, the premier golf club of Daytona Beach, boasts 36 holes of world-class golf designed by Arthur Hills and Rees Jones. The Golf Digest 4-Star rated Hills Course and Jones Course are both favorites among locals, visitors and tour-players alike. Each are distinct in design and play, but are both great for all skill levels.

Since 1994, LPGA International has been the home course of the LPGA Tour. The Club gained its notoriety as the host of numerous LPGA Tour Championships and is now the host of the final stage of the LPGA Tour Qualifying School. LPGA International is also home to a world-class practice facility featuring a double-ended range, a Rees Jones designed 3-hole championship practice course, short game areas and putting greens.

JONES COURSE

Rees Jones is a master of golf course design. Throughout his life, he has crafted over 225 golf courses, adding his own unique touch and Rees Jones design to each. His unique skill and obvious talents have earned him recognition as “The Open Doctor” for his work on courses on which major championships are played. Since 1994, LPGA International's signature Rees Jones golf course is a favorite of the tour players. It is a traditional links style 7,088 yard design. You will enjoy the strategic mounding, numerous expanses of sand bunkers, natural marsh areas, beautiful lakes and undulating greens. While extremely playable for all skill levels, the ingenious and inventive player is rewarded with multiple options on nearly every shot.
