Practice Round
A practice round is available to those competitors in the championship on Monday, July 17, 2017. Practice round is complimentary. The practice round is complimentary, however, you are responsible for any cart, practice range or food & beverage fees incurred during the practice round. Access before the championship is at the discretion of Harmony Landing CC. Please contact them for additional information.

Registration
There is no official registration. Important: Report to the starting tee no less than 5 minutes prior to your assigned starting time. There is no call to the tee; it is the player’s responsibility to arrive on time.
Food & Beverage:
* Lunch is provided to players (included in entry) after the first round. Because of Kentucky Health Food Standard guidelines, buffetts are regulated to stay open no more than 2 1/2 - 3 hours at one time. We will open lunch from 12:30 - 3:30 for your convenience. With the last tee time scheduled for 11:10, we will monitor your progress and do our best to accommodate you.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed at the facility.
General Information:
The Rules of the United States Golf Association govern play. This information sheet, the KPGA Rules hard card and any site-specific Local Rules and Conditions of Competition sheets are supplements to the Rules of Golf. Local Rules of the host course do not apply. The KPGA Rules and Competitions Committee, who are charged with conducting this championship, shall settle all questions. Reference to the Rules and Appendix I may be found in the 2016-19 Rules of Golf book. Unless otherwise noted the penalty for breach of a Local Rule or Condition is: 2 Strokes.
Distance-Measuring Devices
Distance-Measuring Devices are permitted for this championship.
Pace of Play Guidelines and Procedures:
Pace of play is a Rule of Golf. All Groups are expected to stay within the set pace of play as established by the Committee. Groups that are not within the set time par and more than 14 minutes behind the group are deemed out of position and all players in the subject to individual timing. Please see the pace of play guidelines and procedures onsite for complete details.
Player/Caddie Carts:
Golf carts are provided for all players. A maximum of two carts are allowed in each grouping. Pull/Push carts are allowed for the championship.
Spectator Carts
Spectator carts are not permitted for the championship.
Caddies:
Caddies are permitted, however you are responsible for making your own arrangements for a caddie.
Practice Range:
The practice range opens one hour before the first starting time weather permitting. Balls are provided for all players each day. At the conclusion of the first round tee times, the Harmony Landing staff will be cleaning and mowing the range. The range will be closed for the remainder of Tuesday.
Play-off:
In the event of a tie for the overall championship and/or mid-amateur division, the players concerned shall compete in a hole-by-hole play-off. The starting hole and time shall be announced at the scoreboard immediately after the Committee has verified the results of the qualifier.
Prizes:
Overall Winner – Trophy
Amateur – Trophies for Low Amateur, Runner-up, and third place
Mid-Amateur Division – Trophy
Professional Money - top three places
Amateur Prize Certificates – Several places
Ties: Prize money will be divided equally among those tied, except the winner of a play-off will receive first place prize money. If ties occur for amateur runner-up and third place, duplicate trophies will be awarded.
Notice of Withdrawal:
Please contact the KPGA if you need to withdraw. If you need to withdraw any time after 5:00 on July 14, please call (502) 649-7980 and leave a message on the voicemail.
Personal Appearance & Conduct:
Proper golf attire is required; Blue jeans, designer jeans, tee shirts, and tank tops, are prohibited. Shorts must be mid-thigh. Any act of unsportsmanlike conduct, including the use of obscene or abusive language, may be cause for disqualification. Note: Caddies must adhere to same dress code as players.
Footwear:
Shoes with traditionally-designed spikes regardless of design, comprised either entirely or partially of metal are prohibited during the stipulated round. Penalty for breach of this condition: Disqualification
Close of Competition:
The championship shall be deemed to have closed when all scores have been returned and the committee has approved the results.
