EVENT DESCRIPTION
The October Monthly Stableford is an 18 Hole Individual Stableford Event. The details on the event can been found at Monthly Medal/Stableford Tournaments.
TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION
You can sign-up for this event at the RHGC Events Registration Portal. Sign in and select Upcoming Events from the Event Schedule Tab. On the right hand side, you will see an option to Register Now for any upcoming events that are listed as open. Scroll down until you see 2019-10-12 OCTOBER MONTHLY STABLEFORD. If Register Now is grayed out, this is the result of either we have not registered your completion of the Handicap Quiz or your TM profile has not been updated.
CONDITIONS OF PLAY
We will implementing the “Maximum Score” Rule 21.2 for this event. The maximum score anyone can have on a hole for this event is Net Double Bogey. Therefore, if you are on a Par 5 and you receive 2 handicap strokes, your maximum score is 10 for that hole. Under Rule 3.3c, you must hole out at each hole in a round. If you fail to do so, you must correct that mistake before making a stroke to begin another hole or, for the final hole of the round, before returning your scorecard. Since Rule 21.2 is in effect for this event, if you fail to complete a hole, your score for that hole shall be the Maximum Score for that hole.
Please note that this is Competition play, so Local Rule 7 (Alternative to Stroke and Distance for Lost Ball or Ball Out of Bounds (E-5)) does not apply.
PAIRINGS AND STARTING HOLE
Pairings and Starting Hole assignments will be done by the committee for this event. Depending on participation, the afternoon Shotgun may be alter to Tee-Times to more effectively utilize the course in the afternoon.

PM Shotgun: 11:30AM
FLIGHTS
There are 5 mixed genders flights for this event. Men will play from White Tees and Ladies from the Red Tees.
A Flight 0 to 13
B Flight 14 to 17
C Flight 18 to 21
D Flight 22 to 26
E Flight 27 to 40
The committee may adjust the ranges slightly based on the finalized playing field.
PACE OF PLAY
Make your decisions on the shots you will make as quickly as you can (40 secs). This includes on the green. Maximum 3 Minutes searching for a golf ball. Please keep up with the group in front of you. Pace of Play guidelines will be printed on your scorecard. Please do your best to adhere to the recommended timing. Marshals may ask you to pick up your pace or ask you to allow a faster group behind to play through. Be respectful and obey the requests of the Marshal.
