No Show/No Card Policy
The No-Show policy applies to all competitive rounds of each event, not just the first round. If you begin play on the first day and cannot play in the second or third round of an event, you MUST notify the SNJGA Tournament Staff prior to your scheduled starting time for that round. Call the SNJGA Tournament Director at 702-856-6065 or send an email to gmckay@snga.org.
No Card is defined as player walking off the course for no reason or failing to return a scorecad, and not informing the SNJGA Staff/Volunteers his/her reason for walking off the course.
Sanctions for No-Show/No Card Infractions
First No-Show/No Card Offense
- Warning: The player will be warned via email that they have violated the No-Show Policy and will be reminded of the policy for further violations.
Second No-Show/No Card Offense
- The player will be suspended from the next SNJGA tournament.
Third No-Show/No Card Offense
- The player will be suspended from the next three SNJGA tournaments.
Fourth No-Show/No Card Offense
- The player will be suspended for the rest of the season and will not be eligible for any outside SNJGA events, such as travel teams.
If a member is disqualified from an event(s) because of a No-Show/No Card offense, there will be a forfeiture of all applicable entry fees.
If a player feels as though they should not be suspended, the player has a right to submit an appeal to the SNJGA. Appeals do not guarantee and removal of the suspension.
