EVENT OVERVIEW
The Tour is pleased to present the inaugural Del Mar Amateur Championship at The Grand Golf Club. With stunning Los Penasquitos Canyon as his canvas, Tom Fazio created a masterpiece of dramatic elevations, diverse bunkering and lush fairways. For the first time in Tour history players will be able to compete on San Diego's Tom Fazio-designed course at Southern California's premier golf resort. The Grand Golf Club is truly an outstanding layout and conveniently located off of the 56 Freeway in Del Mar / Carmel Valley.
ENTRY FEE
Entry fee of $230 includes forecaddie, green fees, cart fees, use of practice facility, scoring, player prize fund, and trophies. Entry fee does not include forecaddie gratuity, which is at your discretion but recommended at $25 - $40 upon completion of your tournament round. Please note the event is likely to sell-out well in advance of the registration deadline. FORMAT
18-hole stroke play championship. All entries are on a first come, first served basis
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
MONDAY, DECMEBER 9
7AM - 8AM - On-site Player Registration & Check-In
8:30AM - Shotgun Start
1:00PM - 2:00PM - Awards Ceremony for each flight as soon as the last scorecard is turned in for that particular flight
ENTRY DEADLINE
Entry deadline is the Tuesday immediately preceding the event at 6PM or when the field becomes full at 90 players (whichever occurs first).
CANCELLATION POLICY
A confirmed player may cancel up until the registration deadline (typically the Tuesday immediately before the event) and be refunded less a $25 cancellation fee. Any no-shows or late withdraws will not be refunded for any reason.
