EVENT OVERVIEW

The San Diego Tour kicks off the 2019-2020 season with the Champions Course at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.   Southern California's only Gold Medal Golf Resort, La Costa has a rich tournament history, hosting the PGA Tour's Tournament of Champions & World Match Play Championship as well as the 2014 & 2018 Calfornia State Amateur Championships.   Pairings will be in threesomes whenever possible to help promote great pace of play.  

ENTRY FEE

Entry fee of $175 includes green fees, cart fees, use of practice facility, scoring, player prize fund, and trophies.  Please note the event is likely to sell-out well in advance of the registration deadline.  If you are interested in paying the entry fee via cash or check please email request to Josh Strobl, Tour Director, at Jstrobl@gcamtour.com

FORMAT

 

18-hole stroke play championship.  All entries are on a first come, first served basis

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2019

7AM - 8AM  - On-site Player Registration & Check-In
8:30AM - Shotgun Start
1:00PM - 2:00PM - Awards Ceremony for each flight as soon as the last scorecard is turned in for that particular flight

 

ENTRY DEADLINE

 

Entry deadline is the Tuesday immediately preceding the event at 6PM or when the field becomes full at 90 players (whichever occurs first).  

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

A confirmed player may cancel up until the registration deadline (typically the Tuesday immediately before the event) and be refunded less a $25 cancellation fee.  Any no-shows or late withdraws will not be refunded for any reason.
