NOTICE TO PLAYERS
USGA RULES OF GOLF AND WMGA LOCAL RULES, CONDITIONS AND PACE OF PLAY GUIDELINES ARE IN EFFECT EXCEPT FOR THE FOLLOWING CLARIFICATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS:
Unless otherwise noted, the Penalty For Breach Of A Local Rule Or Condition is two strokes.
Parents/Spectators MUST sign in and wear your identification badge throughout the tournament.
DRESS CODE POLICY
All members and guests are required to change into and out of their golf attire in the locker rooms. The changing of shoes and/or attire by anyone in the parking lot is prohibited. Shirts are required to be tucked in and hats must be worn with the bill facing forward. No cargo pants or cargo shorts allowed. (pants or shorts with expandable pockets). Men: Appropriate golf attire, shall be worn at all times on the golf course, driving range and practice area. Jeans (denim of any form or color), short shorts, cargo pants or shorts, with expandable pockets, cutoff shorts and shirts without a collar are not acceptable attire on the golf course. Mock turtleneck shirts are acceptable. Any issues of appropriate dress on the golf course shall be determined by the Golf Professional. Women/Girls: Appropriate golf attire, shall be worn at all times on the golf course, driving range, practice area. Jeans (denim of any form or color), short shorts and short skirts (more than 5" above the knee) are not acceptable attire on the golf course. Mock turtleneck shirts are acceptable. Any issues of appropriate dress on the golf course shall be determined by the Golf Professional.
CELL PHONE POLICY
Members and their guests may carry their cell phones in accordance with the following policy. In all instances cell phone ringers must be kept on silent. While on Club Property the policy for cell phone usage is as follows: Clubhouse: Placing and receiving calls in the Clubhouse is not permitted outside of designated areas. Members or guests who receive an incoming call, or wish to send a text or an e-mail must move to a designated area, such as the men’s and ladies locker rooms, parking lots or Front Lobby before commencing a phone conversation. Golf Course Tournaments: Cell phone use is prohibited. Text Messaging and E-mailing shall
be permitted only if it does not slow play or interfere with the play of others.
TEE MARKERS
18 Holers will play from the GREEN Tees 5,710 yards.
9 Holers will play the BACK 9 from the RED tees 2,682 yards.
Yardage is calculated to the center of the green.
TROPHY TOURNAMENT FORMAT
36 holes of stroke play. Full Course Handicap for Net Competition. Pairings made by the Committee. The Maureen Orcutt Trophy awarded to the low gross winner. The Betty Lou McCabe Trophy will be presented by the Women’s New Jersey Golf Association to the low gross score of a New Jersey resident. Should a New Jersey resident be the low gross winner she will be awarded the Maureen Orcutt Trophy. The Betty Lou McCabe trophy will then be presented to the New Jersey resident with the next lowest gross score. Ties for the Orcutt Trophy shall be decided by a hole-by-hole playoff beginning on the first hole. Ties for the McCabe Trophy shall be decided by match of cards. Any player not present for the playoff must forfeit. Ties for other gross and net prizes will be decided by matching cards.
9-HOLE EVENT FORMAT
9 holes of stroke play. Pairings made by the Committee. Prize awarded for the low gross and runner up. Ties for these prizes will be decided by matching cards.
TRANSPORTATION
All players must walk the stipulated round and carry their own golf clubs. White Beeches DOES NOT ALLOW the use of pull carts. Caddies are not permitted and parents/spectators MUST WALK.
FOOD SERVICE
Continental breakfast will be served starting at 7:00AM. A buffet lunch will also be served starting at 11:00AM. All players are expected to stay for lunch. Parents may purchase breakfast and/or lunch ($25 Cash or Check, $27 Credit Card).
