DRESS CODE POLICY
Acceptable attire on the golf course (including all practice areas) is pants, golf skirts, skorts, and culottes, of appropriate length or Bermuda length shorts (defined as 4 inches from the top of the knee or 19 inches in overall length). Shirts may be sleeveless with a collar. Shirts without collars must have sleeves. Strapless, halter or tank tops are not permitted. Cargo pants/shorts, denim of any kind and tennis attire are not permitted. Caps must be facing forward at all times. Bare feet are not allowed on the golf course.
CELL PHONE POLICY
Cellular phone calls are not permitted on Club property except in one’s car, the pool locker rooms, in front of one’s own locker in the Clubhouse, the tennis pro shop, the paddle hut and the phone booths in the main entrance of the Clubhouse. Non-speaking use of cellphones and PDA’s is permitted at the Club with the exception of the Fairway Room, the Jones Room and the Charles Banks room where it is prohibited after 6pm.
FORMAT
18-holes of best-ball-of-four stroke play. Each player receives 90% of the Course Handicap, taking the strokes as they fall on the card. Only the player’s score that counts as the gross or net score for the team for each hole needs to be recorded on the official score card. Certificates are awarded to the members of the low gross and net teams. Ties will be decided by matching cards. The winner of each will be determined on the basis of the best team score, gross or net as applicable, for the back 9. If still tied, the winner will be determined on the basis of the best team score, gross or net as applicable, for the back six holes, back three holes and finally the 18th hole. One-half, one-third, one-sixth and one-eighteenth of each player’s Course Handicap will be deducted to determine the best net score. If this procedure does not break the tie, the winner will be determined by blind draw.
CADDIES
One caddie will be assigned per group. If your team would like a second caddie, please email Jen Browne, jbrowne@wmga.com. Additional caddies will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, if available.
A/B Best-Ball-of-Four Caddie Fees: $85 per bag, inclusive of tip
A/B Best-Ball-of-Four Forecaddie Fees: $40 per putter, inclusive of tip
Cart Fees: $45 per person made payable by check or cash to WMGA or $47 credit card.
FOOD SERVICE
Continental breakfast will be served starting at 7:00 AM. A buffet lunch will be served following the round.
