NOTICE TO PLAYERS

USGA RULES OF GOLF AND WMGA LOCAL RULES AND CONDITIONS ARE IN EFFECT EXCEPT FOR THE FOLLOWING CLARIFICATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS:

Unless otherwise noted, the Penalty For Breach Of A Local Rule Or Condition is two strokes in stroke play.

THE WMGA WILL BE POSTING SCORES DIRECTLY TO GHIN

DRESS CODE POLICY

Long pants, Bermuda shorts, skirts, dresses of acceptable lengths, tucked-in shirts.   Metal cleats are not allowed. Please make sure that you are aware of and abide by all of these policies when visiting Ardsley Country Club.  The dress code policy will be monitored and strictly enforced by the clubhouse Management Staff, and the Golf Professionals.

 

CELL PHONE POLICY

Discrete use of email and text (but not voice) on mobile devices is allowed throughout the Clubhouse area so long as, in the opinion of club management, it does not interfere with the enjoyment of the facilities by another member or guest.  Mobile devices must be kept on silent or vibrate at all times.  Phone calls may be made or received in the parking lot, locker rooms, or the Private Dining Room.  Such calls are expected to be short, occur only when necessary, and the use of headphones is encouraged, except in the parking lot or Private Dining Room. Tablet usage will not be allowed in the Formal Dining Areas of the Club (Founder’s Room, Rallye Room, Chapel) unless approval is received from the General Manager for use during a Holiday or Club Event.  The use of laptop computers is allowed in the Private Dining Room.  The use of laptop computers is prohibited in all other areas of club property.

 

TEE MARKERS

Class “A” Players: WMGA TEES 5,621 yards. Slope/Rating: 75.5/135

Class “B” Players: RED TEES 5,153 yards. Slope/Rating: 72.9/130

Yardage is calculated to the center of the green.

 

CARTS

All players are required to take an Ardsley Country Club caddie.

One Day Stroke Play Caddie Fees: $100 per player per bag inclusive of tip.

One Day Stroke Play Forecaddie Fees: $55 per player per putter inclusive of tip.

Cart Fees: $45 (cash or check) or $47 (card) payable to the WMGA.

 

FORMAT 

18 holes for each Class. Full Course Handicap. This is an individual stroke play competition NOT a team competition. Player of the Year Points are available to Class A & B players.

 

FOOD SERVICE

Continental breakfast will be served starting at 7 AM. Lunch will also be served starting at 12 PM.  All players are expected to stay for lunch. Breakfast & Lunch charges have been included in the entry fee (not including halfway house & alcoholic beverages).
