WMGA PAYOUT POLICY
We will scrap the old dogfight payout system and standardize all aspects of payouts with the intent to award more players winnings.
- 20% of field (individual/team) will be awarded payouts.
- Flighted events with shoot outs will pay out 1 team in flight when they have 5 teams and top 2 if 6 teams. Shootout will pay out top 2 teams.
- All events will have a standardized entry fee per event/type to fund Player of Year, Presidents Cup and Credits/Winnings for an event. The TC will define every event as either a minor, regular or major event for an entry fee. The allocations and total entry fee for each are detailed below:

- The last place person to qualify for winnings/credits, will be awarded their money back. The remaining winner’s payouts will follow a standard RATE function to allocate all money in an even % increase from player to player through to the winner of the event.
- Flighted events – 75% of $ will stay in flights and 25% goes to shoot out
- 75% to winner and 25% to 2nd
Example:
Bubba event in 2018 – 63 total players; Paid $30 entry fee
- 13 players will win credits – ROUNDUP(63*.2)=12.6/13
- POY - $189 (63*$3), PC - $315 (63*$5), Credits/winnings - $1,386 (63*$22)
- 13th place wins $30. They win their money back and played the event for free
- Using RATE function with 13 winners; $1,386 total fund and $30 for initial winner - remaining winners are awarded 19.3% more than previous place. This function will be calculated for each event as % increase will be unique to total # of players/teams
- 12th = $30 (13th) + $30*19.3% = $35.79
- 11th = $35.79 (12th) + $35.79*19.3% = $42.70
- And so on...
