Welcome to 55th PNGA Senior and 10th Super Senior Men's Amateur Championship

 

CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS
 

Date: June 4-6, 2019

 

Location: Florence Golf Links | Florence, Ore.

 

Eligibility: Entries are open to amateur golfers who are: a) members in good standing of a PNGA member club; b) meet the age requirements; and c) have a USGA Handicap Index or Golf Canada Handicap Factor not exceeding 8.4 for the Senior Championship, 12.4 for the Super Senior Championship, and 16.4 for the Open Division, at the time of entry. 

 

Field Limit: The field limit of 72 in the Senior Championship, 42 in the Super Senior Championship, and 30 in the Open Division will be filled by exempt players followed by order of entry receipt. Since all events are conducted concurrently, the PNGA reserves the right to modify the field limits to reach a full field of 144 players.

 

Age:

Senior Championship: Entrants must be 55 years of age or older as of June 4, 2019 and have a USGA Handicap Index or Golf Canada Handicap Factor of 8.4 at the close of entry.

 

Open Division: Entrants must be 55 years of age or older as of June 4, 2019 and have a USGA Handicap Index or Golf Canada Handicap Factor of 16.4 at the close of entry.

 

Super Senior Championship: Entrants must be 65 years of age or older as of June 4, 2019 and have a USGA Handicap Index or Golf Canada Handicap Factor of 12.4 at the close of entry.

 

Format: 54-hole Individual Stroke Play Competition. Senior and Super Senior Championship are gross only. Open Division is gross and net. 

 

Entry Fee: $285 (U.S. Funds)

 

Cart Fee: $45 (U.S. Funds) per rider. Includes all three rounds and must be paid during registration. Spectator carts are not permitted. 


Entry Deadline: Extended to May 19, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. 

Entry Includes: Three rounds of championship play, one hosted practice round, warm up range balls each day, tee prize, lunch following play after round two and round three, Kusak crystal awards for top-finishers and a merchandise payout ($8,000 based on a full field).

Exemptions:

 

  • Senior Amateur Champion earns an exemption into the 56th PNGA Senior Men's Amateur Championship to be hosted in June of 2020.
     

  • Super Senior Champion earns an exemption into the 11th PNGA Super Senior Men's Amateur Championship to be hosted in June of 2020.
