ACCEPTING A SPOT:
If a player should earn a qualifying spot to play the IMG Academy Junior World Championships in San Diego, the HSJGA needs to know if you plan to accept a spot. Some may not have any intention of traveling to San Diego for the Championship and are just playing for HSJGA points. That is fine but the HSJGA needs to know in advance your intentions so we may give your spot to the next person in line. Please indicate whether you will accept if you qualify by checking the box in the Questionnaire. All parents / guardians and contestants will be asked to sign a form the morning of the final round to confirm accepting a spot in the San Diego field. Awards will be conducted as soon as each age division completes their round and the results are posted. If you know you have a chance at a qualifying spot, you must remain near the scoreboard after the awards to receive your Junior World information packet and HSJGA shirt. The IMG Academy Junior World Golf Championships will be held in San Diego, CA from July 6-13, 2019.
Please remember that you must make your own travel and practice round arrangements. No travel stipend will be offered by the HSJGA. We highly recommend that you start researching online for more information regarding the Championships including nearby lodging accommodations at www.juniorworldgolf.com.
