Overview
The Full Day Advanced Course includes presentations on each Rule and an overview of tournament administration roles/best practices.
Who Should Attend
This seminar is highly recommended for Rules Officials, PGA members, golf coaches, and anyone interested in advancing their understanding of the Rules of Golf and tournament administration.
What is the Cost
The fee to attend this seminar is $60 (Public) or $20 (NYSGA Volunteer) which includes refreshments, lunch, and (optional) the USGA's 80-Question Rules of Golf Exam.

USGA 80-Question Certification Exam
The NYSGA will be proctoring an optional USGA 80-Question exam on Saturday, April 1 at Mohawk GC (8:00am - 12:00 pm). Individuals can attain "Advanced" USGA Rules Certification by earning a 70 out of 80 or higher on this exam.
Those interested must register by completing the Registration Form. If you have any questions, please submit them via email to rules@nysga.org.

Rules of Golf Resources
The NYSGA is not offering free Rules of Golf books. The USGA strongly encourages golfers to download the Official Rules of Golf Mobile app. If you'd like to order a physical copy of the Rules of Golf or The Official's Guide to the Rules of Golf, visit the USGA Publications website.
Dress Code
The dress code is country club casual (appropriate golf attire is acceptable).
