EVENT OVERVIEW

 

The Golf Channel Am Tour is proud to be heading back to the beautiful state of Arkansas for the 2nd annual NW Arkansas Open at Bella Vista!   Bella Vista is one of the great areas of the country with rolling hills, beautiful scenery, and most importantly, great golf!

 

This year's event will be held at two of Bella Vista's finest golf courses, the Highlands and the Bella Vista Country Club.  Nestled in the rolling hills of Northwest Arkansas, the Highlands and Country Club courses are some of the most beautiful and challenging in all of Arkansas. 

 

The Highlands Golf Course opened for play in 1990, and is definitely a test of shot making ability. Carved out of Bella Vista’s rolling terrain, it offers beautiful views and bountiful trees, while also leading to a lost ball or two. The course’s four tees provide a challenge for all skill levels.

 

The Bella Vista Country Club Golf Course is the community’s oldest golf course, and can best be described as a “classic” design that gently rolls through the valley along U.S. 71. While long and challenging, the forgiving terrain makes the course very walkable. The course’s four tees provide a challenge for all skill levels.

ENTRY FEE & PAYMENT OPTION

 

Entry Fee is $425, which includes 36 holes of golf with cart and a player welcome prize upon registration.

 

 

FORMAT

 

36-hole stroke play Major championship.  All entries are on a first come, first served basis

 

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS / PAIRINGS

Friday, May 31st - Player Practice Rounds

Friday, May 31st - Player Registration at Bella Vista CC - 3:30p - 6:30p

Saturday, June 1st - First round tee times off #1 and #10 - 7:30a (both golf courses)

Sunday, June 2nd - Final round tee times off #1 and #10 - 7:30a (both golf courses)

Sunday, June 2nd - Awards Ceremonies - 12:00p - 3:00p  (both golf courses)

 

Groups will be paired in threesomes 

 

 

 

ENTRY DEADLINE

 

Registration opens:  February 1st, 2019

Registration closes:  May 24th, 2019

 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

A $75 cancellation fee will apply to any withdraw prior to the established deadline of May 24th at 12:00 PM EST

LODGING

 

There are numerous loding options in the Bella Vista / Bentonville area.  The Am Tour has a room block at the Courtyard Marriott in Bentonville, which is a short 15 - 20 minute drive to both golf courses being used.  

 

Players will be offered an $89 per night rate at the Courtyard Bentonville.  Rooms are exclusive of local taxes, fees, etc and are on a first come, first served basis.  Don't wait until the last minute to book your lodging for this Major.
