EVENT OVERVIEW
The Golf Channel Am Tour is thrilled to be heading back for the 6th Red River Shootout at the WinStar Casino Resort, hard by the Red River. WinStar is conveniently located on Interstate 35 just North of the Red River in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
WinStar Resort and Golf Course is nestled in some of southern Oklahoma's scenic rolling hills and valleys. Just an hour drive from Dallas and two hours from Oklahoma City, WinStar is sure to attract Am Tour players from all over the southwest.
Courses being played will be the brand new Scissortail course and the ever popular Redbud course. From tee to green the Scissortail course provides a safe route with no forced carries or blind shots; however each hole will offer its own risk-reward challenge. There is plenty of room to play, but it is very much a position golf course, thereby creating interest and challenges for all flight levels. Redbud offers a little more of that "resort" feel to it. Rolling fairways and undulating greens that are sure to challenge each player.
Another awesome draw to this Major is the Casino Resort itself. Plenty to do for the players and their spouses and friends!

36-hole stroke play championship. All entries are on a first come, first served basis
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS / PAIRINGS
This Major will be conducted over 2 golf courses, each day, in threesomes. Schedule of events are as follows:
Friday, March 29th - Player Practice Rounds
Friday, March 29th - 3:30p - 6:30p - Player Registration in the WinStar golf course clubhouse
Saturday, March 30th - First Round Tee Times off #1 and #10 - both courses (8:00a - 10:00a)
Sunday, March 31st - Final Round Tee Times off #1 and #10 - both courses (8:00a - 10:00a)
Sunday, March 31st - Awards Ceremonies - 12:00p - 3:00p
PLAYER PRACTICE ROUNDS
Players may book practice rounds at WinStar starting Monday, March 25th. Practice round rates are $59 plus taxes/fees. Please call the WinStar golf shop at 580-276-4229 to book your practice round tee time.
ENTRY FEE & PAYMENT OPTION
Entry Fee: $425
Entry fee includes all green fees, cart fees, range balls, trophies, player welcome gift, generous prize fund and electronic scoring.
