Format (new in 2025)
Beginning in 2025, the Kansas Four-Ball, Kansas City Four-Ball and Heart of America Four-Ball Finals events have been merged into one event called the Heart of America Four-Ball Championship that will be played over four consecutive days.
All teams will play 36-holes of four-ball stroke play qualifying (18-holes each day) on May 30-31 to determine teams that will advance for single elimination four-ball match play brackets. The top 16 teams in the Open Division and top 4 teams in the Masters Division will advance to match play on June 1-2. See the detailed daily event format above.
If a tie exists for the final spots in each division for match play, a sudden-death playoff will be conducted on May 31st and will begin 10 minutes after the final score is posted to the main scoreboard. The starting tee for the playoff will be announced and posted to the main scoreboard. All players/teams subject to the playoff must be present at the playoff starting tee for the call of the roll. Any player/team not present will be eliminated from the playoff. The match play bracket will be determined and seeded based on the team's 36-hole score with ties broken by random draw. All matches will be played over 18 holes.
Champion to be determined in each division. Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded to teams that qualify for match play.
