REFUND POLICY: Entry fee will be refunded regardless of reason if LGA office is notified, in writing, before the close of entries. After the close of entries, fee will be refunded only in the event of injury or illness provided notification (accompanied by a doctor’s statement) reaches LGA office by May 30th, 2025. A $30 service charge will be deducted from all refunds.
Eligibility: Entries are open to any junior who is an amateur golfer (as defined by the USGA) and is an active 2025 member of the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour or the Southern Texas PGA. Entrants must be 11 years of age by midnight, May 31st, 2025, and cannot have reached their 19th birthday by midnight, July 1st, 2025. Non-amateurs are not eligible. Entries are subject to rejection at any time (including during the championship) by the LGA. Reasons for rejection may include unbecoming conduct.
Field/Format of Play: Limited to 90 entries. There will be an allocated number of spots per age division. Once an age division is full, a waitlist will begin to accumulate for that division. Note: Some age divisions may fill up faster than others. Participants must choose to enter the appropriate divsion (Overall Boys (13-18), Boys (11-13) or Overall Girls (13-18)) The Overall Boys' division will compete from approximately 6,700 yards. The Overall Girls' and Boys' (11-13) will compete from a forward tee approximately 5,700 yards. Participants must declare his/her participation in the division which they intend to compete during registration.
Dress Code: Competitors must be neat in appearance and wear appropriate attire. No gym shorts, cutoffs, blue jeans, tee shirts, etc. Shorts must be Bermuda length. Important Note: Koasati Pines is a spikeless facility and all competitors will be required to wear spikeless shoes.
Practice Privileges: Practice privileges are extended to participants in the tournamnent at Koasati Pines on May 30th, 2025.
Top Finishers: Crystal prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in all divisions. A medal will be awarded to the top finisher aged 15-and-under in the Overall Boys' division.
AJGA PBE: AJGA PBE Stars will be awarded for this event in the Boys 13-18 Division.

Notah Begay Regional Qualifier: The Notah Begay III Jr. Golf National Championship Series (NB3 JGNC) is a 2-stage qualifying process culminating in a 54-hole National Championship that will air on Golf
Channel during a 2-hour broadcast. The Series is open to all players. In 2024, players
who qualify through the available qualifying spots below will move onto the NB3
Mississippi Regional Final (Co-Ed) at Dancing Rabbit Golf Club on TBD.
From the results of the LJGT at U-Club, NB3 JGNC will offer the following Qualifying Spots by Division into their NB3 Mississippi Regional Final:
Overall Boys (13-18): Top-3
Overall Girls (13-18): Top-3
Boys 11-13: Top-3
LJGT Player of the Year Points: Louisiana Junior Player of the Year Points will be awarded at this event.
Rules of Golf: Play will be governed by the current USGA Rules of Golf and LGA Rules of Play Card. All questions will be settled by the LGA Rules Committee, whose decision will be final. Automotive transportation (carts) and/or caddies will not be permitted. Caddies: Competitors will not be permitted to use caddies. All participants will carry their own clubs. Pull carts will be permitted.
