Tournament Preview:

The Two-Man Scramble at Walden Ponds Golf Club offers a fun and competitive format at one of the premier courses in the area. Walden Ponds’ layout demands strategy and precision, with diverse club choices needed to navigate its thoughtfully designed holes. This event is perfect for showcasing the best players in the region. Beer is included during the round and food afterwards.

Entry fee includes: Food after the round and complimentary beer throughout the event. Cost is $300 per team.

Check-In/Registration:

  • Check-in Time: Starts at 12:00 PM
  • Shotgun Start: 1:30 PM
  • Check-In Deadline: 1:00 PM

Players can locate their carts near the putting green, with names displayed. Staff will be available to answer questions starting one hour before play begins.

Tee Boxes:

  • Senior (60+): ~6,200 yards
  • Super Seniors (75+): ~5,900 yards
  • Men: ~6,800 yards
  • Women: ~5,900 yards

Tournament Times:

  • 12:00 PM: Range Opens
  • 1:15 PM: Announcements
  • 1:30 PM: Shotgun Start
  • Post-Round: Food, raffle, and prizes

Results/Prize Pool:

  • Results can be tracked live with the Golf Genius app.
  • Winners will be announced after the final players finish.
  • All side games, including skins, will be paid via Venmo after the round.
  • Total Payout: $6,000 (assumes full field of 50 teams) and will be paid out with Venmo or PayPal

Side Games:

  • Skins: Gross and Net
  • Par 5 Contest: Lowest 4-hole total wins $250
  • Par 3 Contest: Lowest 4-hole total wins $250
