2025 RDGA Wilson Fitch Senior Championship

FORMAT: The RDGA Wilson Fitch Senior Championship features 36 holes of scratch stroke play competition over two days. The format features competition in four age-based divisions: Senior (ages 55-59), Super Senior (ages 60-64), Masters (ages 65-69) and Legends (ages 70 and over), as well as the overall Championship, which is determined as the low 36-hole scorer from among the Senior, Super Senior and Masters divisions.
With the field size limited to 78 players, the number of spots open for registration in each division will be limited to: Seniors, 21 players; Super Seniors, 21 players; Masters 21 players; Legends, 15 players. If the Championship becomes over-subscribed by the close of registration on August 1, the field for each division will be prioritized based on Handicap Index (as of Aug. 1).
Additionally, in order to participate in this Championship, Player Handicap Index requirements will be in place: Seniors, 9.9 or less; Super Seniors, 9.9 or less; Masters, 11.9 or less; Legends, 14.9 or less.
Round 1 pairings and start times will be made according to division; Round 2 pairings will be made based on order of Round 1 finish for the combined Senior, Super Senior and Masters divisions, then Legends division. Ties for first place after 36 holes in the Overall, Senior, Super Senior, Masters and Legends divisions will result in a sudden death playoff to determine the overall RDGA Senior Champion.
ABOUT: The RDGA Wilson Fitch Senior Championship is one of the longest-running annual championships on the RDGA calendar and was renamed in 2020 in honor of past RDGA President and long-time Rules official and volunteer Wilson Fitch, who retired from the RDGA Board of Directors in 2020 after more than 25 years of service. Entries are open to all amateur male golfers age 55 and over (as of the beginning of each year's tournament).
The top 5 finishers (plus ties) in the overall Senior Championship
PLUS the winners of each Senior Flight all receive exemptions into the
2026 RDGA District Championship.
