Snacks will also be available at the first tee as you begin your round.

Event Format

Handicap Index as of June 9, 2025 will be utilized for this event (1 week prior).

Competition will be 18 holes of stroke play, Two Person Best Ball format. Both players tee off, play each hole individually and record their own scores. The team then records the one best score on the hole as their team score.  

There will be four Divisions:

• A Men's Championship Division, playing from the Wayne Hills Men's Blue Tees (6,638 yards)
• A Men's Senior Division playing from the Wayne Hills Men's White Tees (6,281 yards)
• A Men's Regular (Net) Division playing from the Wayne Hills Men's White Tees (6,281 yards)
• A Women's Division playing from the Wayne Hills Women's Silver Tees (5,100 yards)

The Men's Championship Division will be played at scratch.

The Men's Senior Division, Men's Regular (Net) Division and Women's Division will all be played at 85% handicap and will have Low Gross AND Low Net winners.

The TOP TWO teams (ties broken by Match of Cards method) in the Men's Championship Division

earn exemptions into the 2025 RDGA District Championship at Cobblestone Creek Country Club on July 31-Aug. 2.  

The TOP ONE team (ties broken by Match of Cards method) in the Men's Senior Division (Gross Score results)

earn exemptions into the 2024 RDGA District Championship at Cobblestone Creek Country Club on July 31-Aug. 2.  

Schedule of Events

• Player Registration opens at 7:00 am
• Tee times off #1 tee only beginning at 8:00 am and running through 3:00 pm.

Division Tee Time range (APPROXIMATE):
           Men's Championship Division - 8:00 am - 9:00 am
           Women's Division - 9:10 am - 10:30 am
           Men's Senior Division - 10:40 am - 11:40 pm

           Men's Regular (Net) Division - 11:50 pm - 3:00 pm

Cart Policy

• Carts are included in entry fee and are mandatory for all adults.
• The maximum number of carts for each group is two (2); each side (two player team) will be assigned a cart.
• Juniors must walk - or if paired with Adult may ride - but not drive.

Pairings

• Please register with your desired team member.
• Tee times will be provided approximately a week before the event.
• Teams will be paired by like playing abilities and within flight.
• Divisional pairing order for this event will be as follows: Men's Championship; Women's; Men's Senior; Men's Regular (Net).
• You must play within the time range of your division but you can contact us for an early or late time in that schedule slot, please contact Ty McHerron at Tymcherron@RDGA.org and we may consider your request.

Range

The practice range will be open to all players beginning at 6:30 am and is included in the entry fee.

• Lunch is NOT included in the entry fee but is available for cash purchase between 11:00 am and 3:30 pm.

Practice Round

• There is no practice round scheduled for this event. If you wish to play a round before the tournament, please contact the Wayne Hills pro shop at (315)-946-6944 to reserve a tee time. (The daily greens fee will apply.)

Prizes

• The RDGA will pay prizes in the form of pro shop certificates to approximately 1/4 of the field in each of the four Divisions: Men's Championship, Women's, Men's Regular (Net), and Men's Senior.

Refund Policy

Refunds of tournament entry fees will be made in accordance with the following rules:

1. If the player withdraws BEFORE the registration deadline, he/she will be granted a refund of the full entry, minus the $10.00 credit card processing fee. (The refund will be credited back to the players card).

2. If the player withdraws from a tournament AFTER the registration closes, no refund will be granted.

RDGA Code of Conduct

The Rochester District Golf Association (RDGA) and its member clubs believe that participation in RDGA amateur events is a privilege that carries responsibilities.  In order to enter an RDGA event, a player must be an amateur golfer (unless otherwise approved by the Committee) and be a member in good standing at an RDGA or NYSGA member club.  He or she must adhere to all RDGA tournament requirements, including possession of a USGA Handicap Index, age and/or gender for selected events, appropriate golf attire, mandatory use of riding carts at selected events including limitations listed on Local Rules and Terms of Competition for 2025 RDGA Tournaments, and obey local host club rules that may apply to players during a competition.

The Rules of Golf as approved by the United States Golf Association and R&A Rules Limited govern play in RDGA events, along with the Local Rules and Terms of Competition for 2025 Tournaments and any Local Rules that are in effect as listed on the Notice to Player.  All players must familiarize themselves with the provisions of Rule 1.2 of the Rules of Golf and conduct themselves accordingly, i.e. by playing in the spirit of the game, acting with integrity, showing consideration for others, and taking good care of the golf course, as those concepts are described in Rule 1.2a.

In accordance with Rule 1.2b of the Rules of Golf, the RDGA has adopted this Code of Conduct to apply to all players in RDGA events.  In the discretion of the RDGA Rules Committee, a player may receive the General Penalty (loss of hole in match play or 2 strokes in stroke play) for conduct that breaches this Code.  A penalty of Disqualification may be applied for any serious misconduct that occurs.  Examples of “serious misconduct” include, but are not limited to:  deliberately damaging a putting green, deliberately moving tee markers or boundary stakes, deliberately distracting other players, refusing to follow the Rules of Golf, repeated violation of the transportation policy, repeated use of vulgar or offensive language, or showing disrespect to a Rules Official.
