2025 RDGA Two Person Alternate Shot

ELIGIBILITY: RDGA Members; men and women, of all ages

START TIMES: All players tee off No.1 beginning at 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

ENTRY FEE: $250 / two-person team

FIELD SIZE: 144 players; 72 two-person teams

REGISTRATION OPENS: Friday, March 31, 2025 (9:00 am)

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Monday, June 2, 2025 (11:59 pm)

FORMAT: The RDGA Two Person Alternate Shot tournament will include two-person teams, with both players hitting tee shots on every hole, then selecting one ball and alternating until holed.  The team then records the one best score on the hole as their team score. The event will feature Five separate divisions: Men's Championship (Blue Tee, played at scratch), Men's Senior (White Tee, with Gross and Net competitions), Men's Regular (White Tee, with Gross and Net competitions), Women's (Women's Red Tee, with Gross and Net competitions) and Mixed (Men's White Tee, Women's Red Tee with Gross and Net competitions).  Junior players are eligible to participate in any flight except Seniors.

With RDGA District Championship exemptions being given to the top two teams in the Men's Championship Division and the first place team in the Men's Senior Division (Gross Score results), this will be your opportunity to qualify for the 2025 RDGA District Championship John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial at Cobblestone Creek Country Club!

ABOUT: The RDGA Two Person Alternate Shot is open to ALL amateur golfers - men and women, and juniors - with an active GHIN® Handicap Index® through a Rochester District Golf Association Member Club. If you've never played in an actual golf tournament before - or if you are a seasoned veteran - this is a fun way to enjoy the RDGA tournament experience!
