114th Parent/Child (Middle/Older)

Registration Fee: $240 per team. Entry fee includes cart fee.
Registration: Opens: June 24 at 9 a.m.
Closes: July 28 at 11:59 p.m.
Eligibility: Open to parent and child teams (children 19 years of age or older) and stepparent and stepchild teams. One member of a team must be a member of a GAP Member Club and hold a verified Handicap Index. If each team member holds a verifiable Handicap Index, then the team may compete for net prizes. Otherwise, it will be restricted to the gross competition only.
Format: 18-hole gross and net, selective drive/alternate shot stroke play. 60 percent of high handicap and 40 percent of low handicap. There will be three divisions: Super Senior (parent 65 years and older), Senior (parent 55-64 years old), and Middle (parent 55 and younger). Players will have their choice of playing in either division if age eligible. There will be flights in each Division for Father/Son, Mother/Daughter, and Mixed, gross and net.
Teams are not permitted to play in more than one Parent/Child in a calendar year.
Players turning 19 after the Parent/Child (Middle/Older) but before the Parent/Child (Younger) must play in the Parent/Child (Middle/Older).
Field Size: Limited to the first 100 teams registered.
Starting Times: If field size warrants, morning and afternoon start on Nos. 1 and 10. A parent may enter with two different children. The rounds may not be played concurrently.
Automotive Transportation: Required. The $35 cart fee is included in your entry fee.
Ties: All ties to be broken by using the USGA-recommended scorecard tiebreaking method.
