Tournament registration for all pro-am events will take place through the Golf Genius platform. All players must first have a membership before being eligible to register for an event. Each player's membership level determines when they can register for pro-am tournaments. Click here to learn more about all membership levels.

 

Step 1: Register for pro-am series membership. Click here to register for Pro-Am Membership.

 

Step 2: Once tournament registration opens for your membership level, players will register for tournaments via the "Open Tee Times Registration" link. Click here to access the "Open Tee Times Registration". Make sure you are logged in to your Golf Genius account. To login, click the "Sign In/Register" button in the top right corner next to the "Book a Tee Time" menu item.

 

Note: Open Tee Time Registration opens 13 days prior to each event for Knoxville Junior Golf Ambassador Level members and TPGA Professional Level members. Open Tee Time Registration opens six (6) days prior to each event for Base Level members. 

 

Step 3: Once you have accessed the Open Tee Time Registration page, all available tee times will appear for tournaments that have registration open. Select the available time you would like. Once a golfer selects their preferred tee time, they will have 5 minutes 15 seconds to complete Step 4 below. If no open slots are available, that means the field is full and the player will need to register for the tournament's waiting list by emailing Nash Gosser (ngosser@tngolf.org) or Hayden Echols (hechols@tngolf.org).

 

Step 4: If you do not wish to register any additional players, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Done". Each player may reserve one tee time per pro-am which allows them to register up to three additional players for each tournament. To add players to your tee time, click "Register Another Golfer" and then search the player's name. Repeat this process for all members of your foursome. 

 

Note: A player will only be available to add to your tee time if they have been approved for membership and tee time registration is open for their membership level. 

 

Step 5: Once a golfer has added all desired players to their group, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Done". Your tee time is now reserved.

 

If there isn't an open tee time (see Step 3 above) on the "Open Tee Time Registration" page for a tournament whose registration is live, that means the tee sheet is full OR tee time registration is not open for your membership level. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list for a tournament, email Nash Gosser at ngosser@tngolf.org or Hayden Echols at hechols@tngolf.org. If Ambassador level members are waitlisted for an event, they will have tee time priority for the following week's pro-am.

 

All players will pay their tournament entry fees online.

 

Players will receive an email from Golf Genius with a link where they can pay their tournament entry fee via credit card.

 

For all Knoxville Junior Golf Ambassador Members and TPGA Members who register for a tournament 13 days in advance: Entry fee invoices will be emailed the next day (Wednesday, 12 days prior to the event). Players MUST pay their invoice seven (7) days prior to each tournament. Players who have not paid their entry fee at least seven (7) days prior to the tournament will be automatically removed from the tee sheet and their spot will reopen for other members to fill.

 

For all Base Level Members and any member who register for a tournament six (6) days in advance: Tournament entry fee invoices will be emailed the next day (Wednesday, 5 days prior to the event). Players MUST pay their invoice three (3) days prior to each tournament by 12:00 PM - the Friday before each tournament. Players who have not paid their entry fee by 12:00 PM the Friday prior to the tournament, will be automatically removed from the tee sheet and their spot will reopen for other members to fill.

 

Players who wish to play in the optional skins game will pay a TGF representative for the optional $5 skins game when they arrive to the golf course the day of the pro-am. 

 

What if I need to withdraw or cancel my tee time for a tournament?

 

Players may withdraw or cancel out of a tournament via Golf Genius or by emailing Nash Gosser (ngosser@tngolf.org) or Hayden Echols (hechols@tngolf.org).

 

Players who withdraw from a tournament more than 48 hours prior to the event's first scheduled starting time will be refunded their entire entry fee minus a $5.00 processing fee.

 

Players who withdraw within 48 hours of the tournament's first scheduled starting time will receive a refund minus a $30.00 cancellation fee.

 

Any player entered in an event who fails to show for their tee time without giving prior notice to TGF staff will automatically be withdrawn from the event. No refunds are available for no shows and players who WD from a tournament after beginning their round.
