MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP
The Match Play Championship Bracket will consist of a normal 32 player bracket broken down by region. There will be three regions – Portland , Southern and Central/Bend. The seeding for the brackets will be done by a “blind draw” for each region. Those awarded a “bye” in the first round, if any, will not be eligible for any payout for a first round victory. The competition will be gross match play. Competitors are to arrange their own site and date to play their matches, but matches MUST be played within the timeframe established by the tournament committee (usually 4 weeks). If a match has not been completed within the allotted timeframe, a coin flip will be used to determined the winner. All disputes shall be resolved by the Tournament Committee and its decision shall be final. Match Play deadlines will be forwarded to the competitors in a timely manner after the seeding of the event.
SENIOR MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP
The Senior Match Play Championship Bracket will consist of a normal 16 player bracket. The seeding for the brackets will be done by a “blind draw”. Competitors are to arrange their own site and date to play their matches, but matches MUST be played within the timeframe established by the tournament committee (usually 4 weeks). NET MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP
The Match Play Net Championship Bracket will consist of a normal 16 player bracket, The seeding for the brackets will be done by your “handicap index” as of March 1. Those awarded a “bye” in the first round, if any, will not be eligible for any payout for a first round victory. The competition will be net match play. Competitors are to arrange their own site and date to play their matches, but matches MUST be played within the timeframe established by the tournament committee (usually 4 weeks). If a match has not been completed within the allotted timeframe, a coin flip will be used to determined the winner. All disputes shall be resolved by the Tournament Committee and its decision shall be final.
