**GAP Entry Policies**

 

Registration Fee: $170 per individual.

 

Registration Opens: March 18 at 9 a.m.

Registration Closes: June 23 at 11:59 p.m.

 

Format: 18-holes individual stroke-play qualifying on Day One. There are two Divisions: Senior (55 years of age or older) and Super Senior (65 years of age or older).  A Super Senior may play in the Senior Division, but must declare that on his entry and play from the same tees as the Senior Division. There are two rounds of matches on the second and third days for Senior Division. In the Super-Senior Division, there will be one round of matches on Day Two and two rounds of matches on Day Three.

 

Eligibility: Open to GAP Member Club golfers who are 55 years of age or older as of the first day of the championship. Senior Division players must have a Handicap Index of 7.0 or lower, Super Senior Division players must have a Handicap Index of 10.0 or lower. Exempt players are guaranteed a spot in the field, all other entries accepted by lowest Handicap Indexes entered on closing day.

 

Field Size: Limited to the first 144 players for qualifying. A total of 16 players will qualify for match play in the Senior Division, while eight players will qualify for match play in the Super-Senior Division. There will be 44 spots reserved for the Super-Senior Division.

 

Practice Rounds: TBD

 

Pairings: Threesomes for stroke play; twosomes for match play.

 

Starting Times: Begin at 7:30 a.m. with 10-minute intervals starting on Nos. 1 and 10 tee. Match play tee times begin at 8 a.m.

  

Caddies: All players must take a cart for this event.

 

Automotive Transportation: Required, the $35 cart fee for stroke-play qualifying is included in your entry fee.
