In conjunction with the two-day Series event at Elkhorn Ridge GC and Spearfish Canyon GC, the Notah Begay III Junior Championship Local Qualifier will be held on Monday (18 holes only). The Notah Begay III Jr. Golf National Championship Series (NB3 JGNC) is a 2-stage qualifying process culminating in a 54-hole National Championship that will air on the Golf Channel during a 2-hour broadcast. The Notah Begay Qualifier is open to all players. 

 

Players will be competing to advance to the Minnesota Regional Qualifier on August 11-12! 

 

Available Qualifying spots by Division:
Boys: 10-11, 12-13, 14-15 (2 Spots) / 16-18 (3 Spots)

Girls: 10-11, 12-13, 14-15 (1 Spot)  /  16-18 (2 Spots)  

 

The SDGA | Sanford International Series is a series of events for junior golfers who are looking to make an impact on their high school teams and to prepare them to play golf at the collegiate level. We are currently accepting new applications for the 2025 Series. High school players (class of 2025, 2026, and 2027 have priority) who wish to be considered for membership can apply by submitting a cover letter and competitive resume to SDGASanfordSeries@sdga.org.

The Memo to Players will be posted and sent via email and text immediately after registration is closed. 

 

Tentative Schedule

Day 1 - Elkhorn Ridge GC - Tee times will start around 9 AM

Day 2 - Spearfish Canyon GC - Tee times will start around 8 AM

 

Tee Times

Day 1 - Will be released 4 days prior to the event.

Day 2 - Based on Day 1 scores. Low scores off last.

Top 10 players in each division receive season points. Top point leaders are invited to play in the Series Championship the week of July 28. 

Top finishers in each division will also receive PBE points from the AJGA.

 

Late Registration: $135 (Series + Notah Begay) or $115 (Series Only) - Players are put on a waitlist and only charged if they get into the event.
