 Method of Play

 Eligibility

36-Hole, Individual Stroke Play Qualifier Followed by 64-Person, Individual Match Play Bracket

 

The defending champion will receive the #1 seed regardless of participation in the qualifying rounds, assuming the player remains eligible for the event.

 

Ties in qualifying round will be decided by a blind draw, except that places of those participating in a play-off will be determined by their performance in the play-off.

 

In the event of a tied match, (a) the winner will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole play-off and (b) the round is deemed to extend to as many holes as are required for a match to be won (Rule 3.2a (4)).

 

Conditions of the playoffs will be announced on-site by the GCGA Rules Committee.

Eligibility for this event is limited to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:

 

• Must have an active GHIN membership for the current year - Register Now or Visit Your Local Facility
• Must have created a Player's Account Through Golf Genius - Register Now
• All players must conform to the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.
